I Interrupt this Ireland Flashback to bring you... a cute baby shower (from today)!

This weekend, I had the privilege to throw one of my best friend a baby shower. Her baby girl is due in May, and since I'm surrounded by boys at home, I relished in the chance to create a gold and pink themed day of baby girlishness. With some borrowed vintage goodies, and some hand made fun, we put together a feminine and beautiful atmosphere.

Starting with food, we chose to do a "cravings bar", showcasing the foods that my friend has been craving throughout her pregnancy.  It included a smoothie bar with fresh fruits, pigs in baby blankets, chocolate donuts, mini pancakes with whipped cream, and of course, pickles!

Our dessert table consisted of strawberries and cream cupcakes, adorned with candy pearls, and some candy dipped pretzels, sprinkled with gold sugar. We also had some pink m&m's for baby M!

The mommy-to-be got plenty of options for hair accessories, as we set up a headband station and all of the guests created a custom headband for baby M.   We also played the clothespin game, "don't say baby!"

The main event as always was the adorable gifts! Baby M is all set for an adorable arrival, and we cannot wait to meet her!
